It started with a mother in Chennai, standing in a crowded store, running her fingers over yet another shirt that felt rough, stiff, mass-produced — nothing like what she wanted to wrap around her own child. She thought of her grandmother's stories about the weavers of Tamil Nadu, the ones who spent hours getting a single thread just right, not because it was fast, but because it mattered. She wondered: why has that care disappeared from something as important as what our children wear?

So she set out to bring it back.

Nestled in Spencer Plaza — a place that has watched generations of Chennai families walk through its halls, grow up, and return with children of their own — Kidwards was built on a simple, stubborn belief: children deserve to be wrapped in the same love they give the world so freely.
